This morning we continue the new series unpacking the Names of God. We are going to spend time understanding the character, nature, and essence of God by learning about the names that He has chosen to reveal to us in His Word. We learn His attributes when we learn His name, and when we know God we can truly love Him in a deep and personal way. God is a personal God and wants us to really know who He is.

Read MoreWe are creatures of habit and typically run to things that are familiar to us. We shop at the same stores, order the same food, listen to the same playlists, and stick to things that we deem safe, comfortable, and familiar. This can even sneak into our spiritual lives. We see this in the attitude of the Israelites in 2 Chronicles 33. God calls us to more than this and asks us to leave the safety of the familiar and walk wholeheartedly with Him by faith into the unknown as He leads. Let’s leave the familiar and grow in Him.
Read MoreThis New Testament early church was together and in community. We see this as witnessed in Acts 2:44-47. That is our theme this morning: community. Something has seemed to have gotten lost in the church through the past 50 years. The church was the center of community, but sadly our time began to get parceled by many things and church has seemed to be mostly regulated to a 1 and ½ hour window on Sunday mornings. That wasn’t the Lord’s design for His church. There is GREAT value in the church community both on a personal level & corporate level. Pastor Greg is going to talk about ‘stirring’ this morning
Read MorePastor Greg ends the series out of the Old Testament book of Nehemiah this morning by unpacking Nehemiah 6:15-16. We learn 2 very valuable lessons regarding perseverance from Nehemiah and the Israelites in Jerusalem completing the wall in a miraculous time. Perseverance is the call of the Disciple of Jesus Christ. Be encouraged today and be like Jesus and persevere until the very end.

Read MoreThis week we take a little turn in our series about the Power of a Godly Vision and talk more about working together in Kingdom Work by looking at Nehemiah 3. God wants a church that is unified and working together. When we look at chapter 3 we see a list of workers that was very diverse, some did much, some did little, some used different talents and abilities, but the most important thing is that they were doing it together and they rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls and gates in a miraculous time. God can do the miraculous through us when we offer Him what we have and work together.

Read MoreWe talk about our ‘vision playbook’ this morning in our series: Nehemiah-the Power of a Godly Vision. Every team has a playbook. Many businesses have a playbook for their employees. A playbook is nothing more than a plan or strategy. Listen along as we see how Nehemiah planned accordingly after he received his God-given vision to go and rebuild the walls and gates of Jerusalem.
Read MoreLast week Pastor Greg talked about ‘the waiting game’, that time between when you feel God birthing a vision or burden in you but you do not know the ‘when’ nor the ‘how’ of the vision. This week we unpack the prayer that Nehemiah prayed during his waiting time and we learn a valuable prayer guide that we can utilize during our time of developing, character building, and dependence upon the Lord as we, wait.
Read MoreThis morning Pastor Greg continues our series on the power of a Godly vision by talking about what the Old Testament character Nehemiah did during the ‘waiting period’. That period between what we feel God wants us to do and the ‘how’ He will bring it about. Many believers find themselves in a ‘holding pattern’, but that is when faith is grown, character is developed, & we truly learn to depend upon God. This is part one of ‘the waiting game’.
Read MoreHappy Father’s Day. Pastor Greg gives dads, grandads, foster dads, & spiritual dads (as well as all parents) Biblical instruction about what our kids desperately need. We learn this by unpacking the fatherly blessing the Israelite patriarch Isaac gave his son Jacob in Genesis 27. Who do we want affirming our kids? The world will happily step up and give them affirmation if we, and the church, do not do this. There is a spiritual battle that is raging for our kids, and we can do much in the Lord’s power to help them in this battle. This message is titled: The Blessing of Affirmation.

Read MoreToday we continue our new series about having a Godly vision for your life based on the vision or purpose that God gave Nehemiah in the Old Testament. Last week Pastor Greg spoke on the ‘where’ of a Godly vision; the means and methods that God uses to get a vision to us. This week Pastor Greg talks about the “how’ of a Godly vision and more specifically how to claim your Godly vision. We learn this by examining the actions, reactions, and emotions of Nehemiah when he learns of the situation in Jerusalem. We bless you and pray that you find Jesus closer and nearer in your life.
